There were six survivors of a fiery plane crash Wednesday morning at Bradley International Airport that left seven others dead, officials said.
The Boeing B-17, a World War II bomber plane, crashed at the end of Runway 6 while trying to land on the tarmac around 10 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Liberty Belle did not crash.The pilot landed her in a field and everyone was able to exit the A/C unhurt.She burned to the ground right before the crews eyes.
She was known as the Yucca Queen back about 1970.She was recovered from a Nuc test site after cooling off for 20 years.

Well, you are correct about Liberty Bell. The fire department that responded didn’t want to drive out into the field to put out the fire on the plane because they said their trucks might get stuck. When the TV news helicopters showed up, then they drove out to the plane. but it was too late.
Yep.That makes me made as hell, still.My buddy John was the pilot on that bird and did a great job getting LB on the ground and everyone(another buddy and his family) on board, out of the plane.
