Let me guess—the rebels have three heads and are hunchbacks. ;-)
Actually, my guess would be that the rebels would be sympathetically portrayed, and the government would be a parody of the GOP.

The government is liberal, and the rebels are conservative.....
Sorta like 1776, turned out real well.
“You left out the banjo-picking.”
They don’t pick banjos in New Jersey.
Wifey and I just 'cut the cord' on HBO/Showtime/Starz/Cinemax and more. The new Roku devices means there's plenty to watch.
Her Central Park Five ‘documentary’ was also fiction.
I actually found it facinating the first few issues, and I’m not a real graphic novel reader. Mainly for the alternative (future?) history aspects.
It starts to drone on a little and becomes like the Walking Dead, so I never caught up on all of it.
Kind of interested to see what woke mess they will make of the screen adaptation.
The concept of liberal and conservative as we see it today cannot be applied to 1776 in any meaningful way whatsoever.
And funny enough they were “shocked” at how well the rebels did. LOL!
No wonder they are stuck in Manhattan under siege.
“The report noted that the show is prophetically well timed to yesterdays tweet storm by Donald Trump.
It’s Leftist agitprop pitting POC’s vs the Deplorables. Ignore it.
The rebel Uniform of the Day (UOD) would naturally include a red MAGA hat.
The Hessians UN troop invitees would be wearing their typical powder blue helmets...
Nope. While amarican troops are overseas in endless wars conservatuves take most of the county/ the free states. Dmz is set in new york city which is no mans land between the old US and free states. The dmz is run by the yakuza and various factions. Book mostly about a journalist who losses his way. Getsife in lrison by end of the run.
I’d rather study actual historical conflicts. Much more interesting and informative.
From reading the wikipedia link, it sounds like you’re right.
Typically, the critics will love it and the viewers will ignore it. Just look at the divide at Rotten Tomatoes on new movies lately.
The first one was between states the second one will be between political parties. (?)
