Limited mental capability.
“Will minus intellect constitutes vulgarity.”
Arthur Schopenhauer
EXAMPLE 1A as to why actors should act and stay out of political matters.
He is an A+ actor.
He is an F thinker.
Robert De Niro F-Bombs His Way right out of our movie library- you won’t be missed robert-
De Niro is just an actor logic and class not required.
I will never watch another one if this degenerate’s movies again!
What an A$$hole!
The Godfather was his first and last truly good movie. What an overrated puke.
No matter what you think of DeNiro as an actor and I think he is excellent, there is definitely something not quite right about him. He lacks the necessary filter to be trusted around normal individuals in a social setting.
H. L. Mencken on actors:
The following is an excerpt from a piece entitled ‘The Cerebral Mime’ originally published in his Prejudices series.
“Of all actors, the most offensive to the higher cerebral centers is the one who pretends to intellectuality. His alleged intelligence, of course, is purely imaginary: no man of genuinely superior intelligence has ever been an actor. Even supposing a young man of appreciable mental powers to be lured to the stage, as philosophers are occasionally lured to bordellos, his mind would be inevitably and almost immediately destroyed by the gaudy nonsense issuing from his mouth every night. That nonsense enters into the very fiber of the actor. He becomes a grotesque boiling down of all the preposterous characters that he has impersonated. Their characteristics are seen in his manner, in his reactions to stimuli, in his point of view. He becomes a walking artificiality, a strutting dummy, a thematic catalogue of imbecilities.”
Without a script, that’s the best he can come up with. He’s not exactly William F. Buckley, is he?
I’ll bet he’s a real peach to be around.
Robert Heinlein:
But there seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be both ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth.”
Did he give any specifics? Or are we just to believe what HE thinks is ‘craziness’?
Oh wow, DiNiro can curse out the President. I wouldn’t have expected otherwise. On the acting side, I don’t think I’ve gone to see any of his movies, I don’t know any of the titles either.
How much of it is acting when a crazy person depicts a crazy person?
Hes still angry over the discovery of his fathers homosexuality......
Taking crazy to a whole new level.
