A second front in the internal war at Fox News that is pitting news and opinion personalities against one another broke out into the open on Sunday. Unlike the first on air skirmish last week, in which Tucker Carlson and Shepard Smith went at it – each attacking the other on his own show – this time the conflict pitted two Fox News personnel against each other in a hostile exchange live on the same program.
The venue was Sunday’s early morning weekend edition of its Fox & Friends program. Mark Levin, the conservative author, attorney, and radio talk show host whose own program Life, Liberty & Levin airs Sunday evenings on Fox News, appeared live from his Levin TV studio to comment on the Democrats’ rush to impeach President Trump. Soon after the interview started, Levin got into it with one of the show’s three co-hosts in New York, Ed Henry, who used to work at CNN. Henry recently returned to work at FNC after taking several months of medical leave after donating part of his liver to his critically ill sister who needed an organ transplant.
The 13-minute segment began on an upbeat note with program co-host Pete Hegseth introducing Levin as “the great one” – a nickname given to Levin by Sean Hannity. Levin then took five minutes to lay out his case criticizing the Democrats’ efforts to impeach the president based on the infamous July 25 phone conversation between Trump and Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky.
It was then Ed Henry’s turn to ask Levin a question. Henry, it should be noted, is considered a Fox News news, as opposed to Fox opinion, person. His challenge to Levin, repeated twice, appeared to provoke Levin. Henry:

As much as I supported FOX NEWS, they are finished in my house! FAUX NEWS no longer plays on my tube!!
There is only so much of this media BS that anyone can take and it has reached its limits. Everyday the media is on the attack with made up stories and hit jobs. If they cared about the truth, they would reform their ways. Unfortunately, they are Soros and left wing funded propaganda peddling machines who do not need to worry about legitimate funding sources to stay afloat. There are only a few voices in this crowd that refuse to bend at this time. Rush believes the media sets the agenda and the Dems follow. For me that jury is out but it’s clear they are in bed with each other and who leads and who follows is irrelevant.
90% of their words are scripted for them and appear on a teleprompter. The on-air people are actors.
The President is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.
His political opponents are reasonably suspected of serious crimes, including bribery and seditious conspiracy.
Investigating them is Trump’s JOB, and if evidence sufficient to charge them is found, it’s his job to see that his government (Barr) asks for indictments and if granted to see that they are prosecuted and if convicted, jailed.
It’s true that a thorough investigation and appropriate responses to it are (potentially) to Trump’s political advantage - but he really doesn’t have the option to fail in his duty, ESPECIALLY because IF he fails in his duty, it’s quite likely that the guilty parties will have him removed from office.
I love Levin. He is a patriot. The problem is that we have a DOJ that is absolutely WORTHLESS and should be doing what Mark Levin is discussing and asking questions about!!!!!!
You still have a tube? There hasn’t been one of those in my house since 1996 when I bought my first 57” 16x9 rear projection TV.
But, that aside, I agree with everyone here that Fox News is, and has been drifting leftward for some time. The only exceptions being their evening opinion shows and a few Fox Business shows. Lou Dobbs leading that group.
I agree with you.
Mark Levin is a brilliant educator. Ed Henry sat there with his mouth open. What a dumb cluck.
This is not a political batter won in front of the tv camera. If there is any teeth in the Barr/Huber team reporting....there will be indictments. That is must cover information. The Corporate media will have no choice. No indictments....no coverage....it’s all political just like the “Inquiry”

Why do you like Ed Henry?
So you agree that what is seen on TV is irrelevant?
That question was right out of the Ministry of Propaganda playbook.
Levin was right to call him out on his dishonesty.
That was the main reason I dumped Comcast and now watch OAN on FIOS.
Henry is a dick. Hes not as bad as Judge Napolitano, Juan Williams and resident queer Trump hater Sheila Sheppie Smith, but hes not much better.
I despise it when people all the sudden become mind readers and flat out make up a bald-faced lie. Fox is full of these phonies. Hopefully Trump hears the segment and puts Henry in his place. Hes a lying SOB.
Very personable guy and obviously family-oriented. Can’t be all bad if he gave part of his liver to his sister, but I thought he was a little “weak-kneed” with some of the emotion when he came back.
I have seen him ask tough, but fair, questions of both political parties. I do not fault him for that. But characterizing what Trump asked as “digging up dirt on a candidate” is simply indicating that he accepted the false premise and narrative of the left, using the very talking point language that the Democrats were using. THAT is taking sides, which is something I have not seen him do before, at least in a way that registered with me.
I agree. See my comment 36.
Wasn’t Henry asking a question which got a really good response from Levin? Isn’t that his job?
It wasn’t an honest question.
Investigating them is Trumps JOB
100% correct and clueless democrats are about the hard way.
