Imagine knowing that you organs may be worth $30,000 to your family upon your death. You’d probably live healthier and if they were viable, leave something more behind.
Plus, you own you kidney and liver. Why should one be compelled to simply donate them?
Chances are by the time you die the organs are not going to be viable. This stuff applies mostly to accidental deaths. There was nothing of use on my 75 year old dad or my 89 year old mom.
The same people that convince you that it would be unethical to have a market for human organs are the ones that will turn around and sell body parts to highest bidder.
