Wait a minute ... I thought I read that Zelensky agreed to the release. Something doesn’t add up here.]

I'm going to predict that PDJT will be send out a tweet soon... "Fake news...."

Having let the cat out of the bag once, Donald Trump probably won’t be getting the same sort of candid exchanges from other world leaders in the future.

That was part of the aim in this current exercise. In the "resistance" strategy, anything to impede Trump is worthwhile. Precedents, law, tradition, common sense be damned.

Zelensky’s rating is plummeting. People believe he kissed Trump’s butt too hard following this release. His following meeting and presser with Trump did’t help much, especially a part with Zelensky and Trump criticized Germany and France for not doing enough for Ukraine.
He is now referred as “Monica Zelinsky”.
I give Zelensky 6 months before he is universally hated and a continuation of established Ukrainian tradition meaning every new leader is worse than predecessor.

“...because the media is already scrambling to remind everyone that the President doesn’t need to break the law to be impeached.”

An opinion by a former solicitor in Obama’s administration is not the Constitutional merit I would hang my hat on.

I would have liked Trump to publicly say, 'I'll be willing to release the transcript but first I have to ask President Zelensky if he's agrees'.

World leaders are going to be on edge if they believe their conversations are going to be release without their approval. (Thanks Democrats).

El Salvador's President, Nayib Bukele said this:

Bukele, however, noted he would be more careful about his conversations with President Trump when asked by MacCallum about whether he would be worried that any talk would be released to the public.

"Now I'll be more careful," he said.

No, this is an agreed upon feigned outrage.

Trump would not have released this transcript without the president’s approval.

No leader would want that and would be angry.

Zelensky is a limp wrist. When Trump asked him he couldn’t object but now has a second guess.

Transcript should not have been released in a perfect world.

But the transcript had to be releases. Democrats were depending on Trump declaring executive privilege. The release screwed the Democrats big time
