Hawaii’s Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said Tuesday that impeaching President Donald Trump would be “terribly divisive” for the country. She’s right. And that’s exactly what her party wants. The Democrats have been tearing America apart for some time.
They didn’t start with the 2016 election of Trump. But that event certainly accelerated the segregation-minded Democrats. Less than one month after voters chose the Republican candidate, Fortune magazine noted a “bitter” “rift in online relationships.” The report was based on a study that found “Democrats were almost three times more likely than Republicans (24% vs. 9%) to have unfriended someone after the election.”
During the 2016 campaign, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton screeched at a New York City fundraiser that “you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.” In the current political madhouse of Democratic candidates, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is sure there’s “systemic racism all around us. It’s the air we breathe,” while New Jersey Sen. Corey Booker swears racist violence has been “sowed by a president who spews hateful rhetoric and endangers the lives of people of color and immigrants in this country.”
Since the election, Democrats have hardly spoken in public without calling Trump a “racist” and “white supremacist.” They’ve not been as openly scornful of Trump voters, but they are getting bolder, and their feelings have been well summed up by a New York Times bestseller (for a book about race, of course).
“If you support Trump, you are a White Supremacist. Full stop,” Ijeoma Oluo wrote in April in something called The Establishment, using upper-case letters as if they will give her argument more heft. “You are an active, hateful, dangerous White Supremacist.”
Of course there is no evidence that Trump is a racist or white supremacist. If he is, why wasn’t this fact made known over his more than three decades as a public figure; when he was registered as a Democrat in the first decade of this century; when he was friends with the Clintons; and when he donated money to Hillary’s Senate campaign, several other Democrats, and the Clinton Foundation?
Sure, a few genuine racists and Kluxers might have voted for him. But despite the Democrats never being shy in declaring that “white supremacy is always descending on Trump” and his supporters, there are so few white supremacists in this nation of 330 million that they count for nothing. If America were the racist cesspool the Democrats say it is, why are minorities from all over the world struggling so hard to migrate to the U.S.?
That fact alone exposes the big lie. But let’s also note an Anti-Defamation League report published two years ago, which found “organized Ku Klux Klan groups are actually continuing a long-term trend of decline” and “remain a collection of mostly small, disjointed groups that continually change in name and leadership.” Then there’s the World Values Survey, which showed that the portion of white Americans uncomfortable living next to someone of a different race fell from nearly half in 1960 to 6% in 2017.
Yet the Democrats incessantly, and mindlessly, upload charges of racism and white supremacy into public discourse, giving the few remaining racists and bigots the attention they crave. Democrats are in effect encouraging these malevolent people, giving them the oxygen they’ve been struggling for.
Earlier this year, former Goldman Sachs adviser and columnist Ron Hart wrote in the Orange County Register about Democrats’ strategy “to fan the fires of racial division in order to win back the White House in 2020.”
While true, much more than 2020 is at stake. Democrats want an us-and-them country, one in which they alone have the raw political power. It’s a long-term strategy that has most prominently appeared in their gun-control efforts. Their objective isn’t to reduce firearm violence but to separate Americans into two groups: backward hicks bitterly clinging to their guns and urbane sophisticates who have evolved beyond that primitive state and therefore have standing to rule the hicks.
By segragating America into two parts — vile, retrograde deplorables who can’t be trusted, and educated, forward-looking progressives — Democrats are setting up a society in which they wouldn’t govern under constitutional limits but rule by political mandate. All power must be turned over to them to keep the barbarians outside the gates. Just as the Cloward-Piven strategy was to create a financial/institutional/societal crisis so profound that it required radical government intervention, seeding the specter of racism and white supremacy is designed to yield a permanent Democratic regime.
Where’s Biden these days? Don’t see any reporting on him on the campaign trail lately.

Ripping America apart it their overarching plan. Everything else they do is just a dress rehearsal.
Again, the GOP has been the Liberal enabler for a very long time. At this point, the GOP brand is next to worthless... and that’s been a long time coming.
Any respect you ever had for them was diminished by 5000% the day they first failed to unite behind this President.... Shame!
This nation is a powder keg, and impeachment is the match.

Trump needs to declassify a number of documents.
Trump will be impeached. I will still in November 2020 vote for him. I think the house should require 2/3rds of the members as well. Ok so Clinton wouldn’t have been impeached....didn’t hurt him anyway. I see soon that every president will be impeached. When you have a majority house, the power is too much.
