SEOUL, South Korea (AP) North Korea said Friday it wants President Donald Trump to make a "wise option and bold decision" to produce a breakthrough in stalled nuclear diplomacy, in an escalation of pressure on the U.S. ahead of an expected resumption of talks.
The statement by Foreign Ministry adviser Kim Kye Gwan came days after Trump said another meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "could happen soon" without elaborating.

I would very much like it to. There are some serious similarities between Vietnam, and Korea.
There of course also big differences, as well.
Hope things can work out between the US and Kim.
Maybe.
If its possible, and I believe that it is, this President is the one who can make it happen. Along with unsung hero, Secretary Pompeo.
Nobody gets the carrot vs stick game better than President Trump.
Give it up.
Its a frikkin pipe dream. The more this goes on the more time is wasted while they illicitly continue to develop irregular trajectory SRBMs, mobile rockets, and SLBMs. Its already established as FACT for the past 16 months while this bullshit charade has gone on for appearances sake.
A good bold move would be to flatten NKs air defense system. Then ask them if they are ready to denuclearize.
I remember when Nixon and Reagan would "negotiate" with the Soviets. Liberals would push for the U.S. to make some dramatic move to get the "stalled" negotiations "back on track". Funny how they never demanded the same from the Soviets.
This is an old and worn out card for them to be playing...
I know you have been a skeptic of North Korea all along.
You may have noticed, I am more skeptical than I was.
Hopeful, but yes, at this point skeptical.
I have been very unwavering consistent in my writing on FR for nearly 10,000+ posts at least since 1999 (through Dem and GOP administration alike) on the topic of North Korea, long before Donald Trump became President or even a registered Republican for that matter. And much longer than primarily Trump-centered posters whove signed up on FR from 2015 and many whom do not even know diddly squat about this issue of Korea. Cheers to you by the way.
Ping!
So now they want Trump to grovel to them. They are the ones that screwed up the previous efforts. Let us not lose sight of the trail of deceit.
