For Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the very notion that President Donald Trump could be deserving of impeachment seemed "laughable"
After having read a summary of the July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that sparked House Democrats' impeachment inquiry into the president, McConnell said on Wednesday that it was "laughable to think this is anywhere close to an impeachable offense."
"If this is the 'launching point' for House Democrats' impeachment process, they've already overplayed their hand," the Senate Majority Leader said.

Basically yes, think about it, they get 110% media attention anytime they say something bad about Trump, they can change the media focus on a dime without even trying hard.
That is what Trump wants. That is why I suspect that they are heels. They are agitators, they are to draw focus to themselves, not what ever issue the media is dwelling on at the moment. They get instant attention and they have been able to move focus or the change the news cycle as well.
If I was president Trump and wanted control opposition, wouldn’t these three stooges be the guys I would pick? Seriously think about it.
I doubt that the Democrats, once they realize what a Senate trial would expose, will really want a trial.

Some have speculated their objective is to deny the impeached President the power to select a SC nominee to replace RBG, who may depart this world in the very near future.
i dont think the media and the dems realize who they are ffin around with here...they think Trump will just sit there hope they dont do this??..No that guy with 63 million twitters followers. Joe is a former high ranking Department of Injustice official. He still believes in the corrupt agency, even though it is infested with leftists (as is the State Department). It makes zero sense to cheer lead an organization whose employees gave 95% of their political donations to Hillary.
