I stand by my impression of stupidity when he said the whistleblower acted in good faith.

If he believes that this whistleblower acted in good faith than Maguire, by me, is stupid.
If he does not believe it but is doing the Republican thing of being nice with air between legs, than he’s a liar.
Either direction drives down my impression of this guy.

He’s playing I believe in my people, but I have procedures I need to follow to protect the process.
