"Stakeholders" is an abusably elastic concept - I'd say simply that short-sighted CEOs are sawing off the stable-middle-class limb on which they sit (not to mention getting lower quality for lower pay).

Stakeholders is pertinent due to being comprised of employees, investors, suppliers, and the community (Which includes the Middle-Class) with interest in the company. Profits and well-being of the community are the hallmarks of the interest of the stakeholders that CEOs should respect (Not just profits). HB-1 Visas for the purpose of replacing stakeholders with cheap foreign labor imported in by politicians that were “hired” negates the CEO’s responsibilities/well-being to the community.
