Nazi leaders were noted for love of their pets and for certain animals, notably apex predators like the wolf and the lion. Hitler, a vegetarian and hater of hunting, adored dogs and spent some of his final hours in the company of Blondi, whom he would take for walks outside the bunker at some danger to himself. He had a particular enthusiasm for birds and most of all for wolves. [...] Goebbels said, famously, The only real friend one has in the end is the dog. . . The more I get to know the human species, the more I care for my Benno. Goebbels also agreed with Hitler that meat eating is a perversion in our human nature, and that Christianity was a symptom of decay, since it did not urge vegetarianism. [...] On the one hand, monsters of cruelty towards their fellow humans; on the other, kind to animals and zealous in their interest. In their very fine essay on such contradictions, Arnold Arluke and Boria Sax offer three observations. One, as just noted, many Nazi leaders harboured affection towards animals but antipathy to humans. Hitler was given films by a maharaja which displayed animals killing people. The Führer watched with equanimity. Another film showed humans killing animals. Hitler covered his eyes and begged to be told when the slaughter was over.[29]
I don’t know enough about Tesla to form an opinion.

For real. Everytime I turn off the engine on my Volkswagen; the display says; Please don’t forget your cellphone.
I’ve looked and looked in the owners manual for a way to reword that. Please don’t forget your baby.
Nope. Uh-uh. Not an option.
VW cares more about you leaving your cellphone behind than they do your baby.
Time for a window sticker ...
“THIS ANIMAL IS ENJOYING LUXURY TEMPS INSIDE — DO NOT BREAK GLASS”
Hmm, if Hitler had been a meat eater, would he have been the first with Soylent Green ?
Wonder what this in-law Mode does?
Pushes button.
Roof opens. Passenger seat ejects.
How about a temp sensor that can be read from outside the vehicle.
One thing I like about living in the Shenandoah Valley is that all cars and trucks seem to come with dogs as Standard Equipment. If you wanted to break the windows of cars with dogs, you would have to break into 90% of the cars in the lot.
As long as the owners are not morons, there is no problem. People mind their own business and the dogs are fine.
Name your baby Cellphone. Problem solved.
58 pets died in cars last year? Wonder how many where “K-9” units given to idiot cops? I know of 5. Beautiful, dead animals, not abusive LEOs.
You could use that for leaving your kids in the car.. Of Course when I was a kid my mom left us kids in the car all the time. It was no big deal then we had mechanical window cranks and we didn’t have car seats where your strapped in like a prisoner. Hell the driver can’t even see their kids because the Kids seat is placed backwards in the seat.. If the child is asleep and quiet you’d never know they were there...
Yes, leave the dog at home where he’d be happier. Or take him with the human as a fake emotional support animal.
“Video shows the dashboard display indicating dog mode and the in-car temperature.”
That won’t spare your window from getting busted when people who don’t own Teslas don’t know to look at the dash display.
I’ve been warning my Tesla S driving pal for a couple of years that he will be safer putting a cardboard sign on his driver’s side window because Dog Saviors will see that.
He’s already had one close call as someone was calling the cops to “rescue” his dog from 72 degree comfort inside the Tesla.
I woman said in an article back then "Men aren't good for much these days due to feminism but we still have to ask one to come over to set up the VCR clock or set up a new stereo system."
Children, too!
Ha! Thumbs up!
