I read just today on FR that her ex-husband is Romney's nephew; she's not related by blood to Romney. I have no inside knowledge . . . just what I read.
I also read that she issued a release challenging Biden to release transcripts of his dealings with Ukraine -- and China!
McDaniel is a granddaughter of two-term Michigan Governor and businessman George W. Romney and niece of Senator Mitt Romney.
