Three Democratic senators have written a letter to Ukraine's prosecutor general to "express great concern" over reports that Ukrainian officials had looked to potentially hinder special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Sens. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Dick Durbin of Illinois and Patrick Leahy of Vermont wrote in the letter to Yuriy Lutsenko that a recent New York Times report said his office "effectively froze investigations into four open cases in Ukraine in April, thereby eliminating scope for cooperation with the Mueller probe into related issues." ...
"As strong advocates for a robust and close relationship with Ukraine, we believe that our cooperation should extend to such legal matters, regardless of politics," the three senators wrote. "Blocking cooperation with the Mueller probe potentially cuts off a significant opportunity for Ukrainian law enforcement to conduct a more thorough inquiry into possible crimes committed during the Yanukovich era," they wrote. "This reported refusal to cooperate with the Mueller probe also sends a worrying signal -- to the Ukrainian people as well as the international community -- about your government's commitment more broadly to support justice and the rule of law," the statement continued.

When president Trump asks the Ukraine government to investigate corruption, that is election interference. Notice that this standard makes Menendez, Durbin, and Leahy guilty of exactly the same thing. They were seeking dirt on Trump.

The implied message did not require an interpreter for Zelensky to understand: Investigate the Ukraine dealings of Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and you jeopardize Democrats' support for future U.S. aid to Kiev.

Nancy has a bad habit of jumping the gun. Another blast from the past - remember she demanded everyone sign obamacare before reading it. Now, before anyone has heard the phone call, she’s demanding impeachment.
Now they can blame Trump for Biden losing traction.

They've been irrational for decades. They have no standards. Everything is situational process and ethics. That's the plan. And when the people wake up to it, the DEMs and the press will be shunned by decent people.

Recall the false allegation that the GOP platform was modified to benefit Russia and detriment Ukraine in the Crimea matter? That was before the 2016 election.
Anybody who looked at the actual change in the platform would recognize the allegation as BS.
Anyway, don't mean to take this thread in another direction. Just tossing into current patter, DEM formal efforts to use foreign governments to affect US political process.
Their vicious plan is for NO ONE DECENT to EVER want to be President, Judge, Senator or Congressman!
It must be very difficult for these foreign countries where corruption is rampant to deal with the Democrats. One day the grease is liberally applied and everybody is happy and then just a year or two later all the juice in the world and you can’t even get your beak wet. It’s gotta be frustrating.

Lindsey Graham will be all over this on Hannity. Linda will rant, be outraged and do absolutely nothing. I’m beginning to think Linda is still doing McCain’s bidding. He says all the right things. Then he effectively gives Pelosi and her crew cover by neutralizing one of the few instruments that could be used to get at the truth, the senate judiciary committee. McCain is probably looking up and rubbing his hands in glee.
