Yes. If it does, and your water supply is cut off then plug your bathtub and drain as much water as possible into it. I have an expandable water barrel just for that purpose, to fill with water during an emergency. Also have crates of bottled water, and water purification filters for use on contaminated water to purify. You can reclaim a lot of water from pipes, hoses and your water heater. And guard your supplies!
