Everybody knows what the Supreme Court will do with this one so why waste time with it?

:-) How many people realize the whole thing started over firearms confiscation?

Try this, and the anti-Walker protests at the state capitol will look like the teddy bears’ picnic.

In Wisconsin, Democratic Gov. Tony Evers is mulling a mandatory buyback of AR-15s in the state, which is confiscationMight as well fast track a SCOTUS ruling.

Can the state pass a background check? What information would be on the Wisconsin government’s form 4473?

Correct. Always sticks in my craw when cities have “buybacks”.

Tony might want to have his lawyers take a peek at
Caetano v Massachusetts. Perhaps those lawyers will take note of the 9-0 vote and the liberal use of the word "frivolous" in the decision's narrative...that word,of course, being used to describe the Massachusetts Supreme Court.

Why can’t they call it confiscation? This is not a buyback. It’s coersion.

"How many people realize the whole thing started over firearms confiscation?" "The Gunpowder Incident occurred on April 20, 1775 in Williamsburg, Virginia when the British Army under Lord Dunmore advanced to confiscate gunpowder stores. Just as in Lexington and Concord the colonial militia began to muster when they heard of Dunmores movements. Patrick Henry led his militia to confront the British." https://thehistoryjunkie.com/gunpowder-incident/
