Lawmakers pressed for full disclosure of a whistleblower's complaint about President Trump as Democratic calls for impeachment intensified over his conversation with Ukraine's leader.
Democrats, and some Republicans, urged the White House to be forthcoming amid the reports the president pressured Ukraine's leader to help investigate political rival Joe Biden.
Trump's call to the foreign leader raised questions about whether the president improperly used his office to pressure another country as a way of helping his own reelection prospects.
Trump has sought, without evidence, to implicate Biden and his son Hunter in the kind of corruption that has long plagued Ukraine. There has been no evidence of wrongdoing by either the former vice president or his son.
The person who filed the complaint did not have firsthand knowledge of the call, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Chairmen of the House intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight and Government Reform committees are threatening to subpoena Secretary of State Pompeo if he does not produce information about whether Trump and his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, inappropriately tried to influence the Ukraine government for political gain.
A person familiar with the matter has told The Associated Press that Trump urged Zelenskiy to investigate Hunter Biden. The person wasn't authorized to discuss the issue publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Hunter Biden was hired by Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings in April 2014, two months after Ukraine's Russia-friendly former president was ousted by protesters and as Biden's father was heavily involved in U.S. efforts to support the new pro-Western government. The move immediately raised concerns that the Ukrainian firm, whose owner was a political ally of the ousted president, was seeking to gain influence with the Obama administration.

Biden just announced a live statement at 2:30 regarding his corrupt son’s involvement in Ukraine and his influence peddling in an attempt to divert attention back to Trump.
How about getting answers to Biden’s actiona to get contracts for his son from Ukraine, using his position in the gov.
His son is a drug addict with zero expertise in global energy policy. Clearly he earned his $50,000. month board of directors position according to the media.

Congress isn’t law enforcement. Maybe it’s time for the DOJ to float the idea of a special prosecutor to look into “the Biden matter”.
The Dems will happily exchange Biden for Trump. Its like giving up a horse to checkmate the king.
They will also be happy to see the stock market get roiled by all this political chaos. They’ve been trying to deflate it from the day Trump was elected.

How about Joe's own words: "In March 2016, Biden made one of his many trips to Ukraine and told the country's leaders that they had to get rid of the prosecutor if they wanted $1 billion in U.S. aid. Biden told the story last year at the Council on Foreign Relations:
"I said, 'You're not getting the [$1 billion]. I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money.' Well, son of a b****. He got fired," Biden said.
I'd say that's an admission of guilt and evidence of wrongdoing right there!
Considering its on video of Biden’s shakedown of Ukraine, its kind of an open and shut case.
Trump can simply run that one video as his only ad and Biden will loose and loose BIG.
