Look, we might not like Nancy, but she’s no dummy. She knows the Ds will get brutalized in the election if she lets the impeachment get voted on. She knows it is not going to get thru the Senate. So she knows it really serves no purpose other than throwing red meat (um tofu burgers?) to much of the D base.
She’s creating the illusion of giving it fair consideration so there will be less whining when she tells them it’s not happening.
