As petty and sexist as that sounds to some ears, that is actually a good measure of her seriousness to run for (...or more likely be in the vicinity when begged to accept) the nomination. Given her colorful relationship with gravity, a string of seemingly out of nowhere "look how fit she's getting" stories in gossip rags to precede any whisper campaign. She has to look stronger than 2016 to the public because she is no longer inevitable.
After 2000, Algore grew a beard and figured out how to make 100 million dollars by telling people the gas that escapes their lungs each breath was a pollutant. Hillary could just be putting her ear to the ground to listen for the wild herds of graft that she lost track of three years ago.
