Notice how Trump’s approval rating never gets above 50% and the disapproval is always a bit higher than the approval rating? I really think that is a planned outcome, and is inaccurate.
Legal immigrants hate illegals..not just Mexicans.....they may not love Trump but they will not vote for open borders and free health care for illegals
Trump’s approval rating in this poll is 51%, with 10% “somewhat disapproving” (but still could vote for him) and 2% undecided.
That’s 63% of the potential vote, and I don’t think it’ll be that close on election day.
(Rasmussen had him at 52% approval Friday for another data point.)
‘If you dont think that is something to worry about, then I have no idea what else to say to you.’
please stop talking sense, please...
‘Thats 63% of the potential vote, and I dont think itll be that close on election day.’
if you think Trump is going to exceed 63% of the 2020 popular vote, well...
This was from over a month ago.
Actually, not at all surprising. Did you see the CNN piece that went to a MN town and everyone there (including the Ds) were voting Trump? But they were voting D downticket.
We will see a LOT of this. Trump’s numbers with blacks and Hispanics is not going to be the same as the GOP’s #S. Blacks and Hispanics don’t yet trust the GOP.
Baris’s polling confirms this. Parscale’s polling confirms this. Until or unless the GOP can identify wholeheartedly with Trump, they are screwed.
“if you think Trump is going to exceed 63% of the 2020 popular vote, well...”
Yes, I should have phrased that as “I hope it won’t be that close”.
I think there’s a chance of it though, since the Dems will be in the throes of the worst political scandal ever - the FISA scandal. One hopes more of their lying narratives will fall apart too...
WOW.
Yes, but it was never posted. Its an interesting data point
Re: Legal immigrants hate illegals...they will not vote for open borders and free health care for illegals
Hillary Clinton - 2016
Hispanics - 66%
Asians - 65%
Also - 6% of Hispanics and 8% of Asians voted for a Third Party.
The Libertarians (Open Borders) and the Green Party (Open Borders and Free Health Care) got most of the Third Party votes.
True, especially since in the last six days Trump has been at 51 or 52% on Ras three times, and 49 or over all six.
Was this 2018 or 2016?
Anyway, I don't find that encouraging.
It means that Minnesota voters think that Trump and their Democrat Congressman share a common political philosophy.
By the way, 92% of the Democrats who voted in the 2018 midterm told the NEP Exit Poll they wanted Congress to impeach Trump!
Not to worry ... before creepy Joe beats Trump like a drum he plans to beat Warren like a tom-tom !
I have not conceded anything.
However, anyone who thinks Trump can win half the Hispanic vote and a quarter of the Black vote is delusional.
In 2020, one third of eligible voters will be non-white.
For the last 9 presidential elections, non-whites have voted 75%-80% for the Democrat candidate.
Trump is going to need 61% of the white vote just to be competitive - and that will not be easy to do.
YUGE, that will only go up.
“For the last 9 presidential elections, non-whites have voted 75%-80% for the Democrat candidate.”
There you go AGAIN! How many times has Donald Trump run for president? Once, and he won that one and yet even though he has improved his position among minorities (I’m using your own polling as well as Rasmussen) you seem to believe he has LOST favor among whites. His accomplishments go for nothing, according to you and why would you feel that way? Easy to answer that one. You totally buy into the liberal talking points and accept all they say as fact.
What you are is a defeatist and a person very easily moved by the lies of the media.
Re: You totally buy into the liberal talking points and accept all they say as fact.
I have been a Goldwater Conservative for 60 years.
My Top Two Issues are immigration and federal debt - both of those issues are existential threats to the American Republic.
Trump has exactly one quantifiable accomplishment on immigration - he reduced UN Refugees from 80,000 per year to 30,000.
On debt and spending, he has no quantifiable achievements.
My Bottom Line...
If Conservatives do not hold Trump’s feet to the political fire, who will?
1. Trump was totally unprepared for what he had to deal with as he went about taking care of business in DC. Who would have expected the number of complete scumbags and lying, duplicitous turncoats in his own Party would be so high?
With all this and despite having to overcome a steep learning curve he has succeeded beyond his enemies greatest fears. The longer he is president the more accomplished he becomes and the tougher he is to beat. Scumbag pols are not used to someone like Trump who refuses to be cowed by their galactic “assholeness” and brazen attempts to actually overthrow his Administration.
Has he always succeeded? No and no one ever does in that job. But he has been more successful in keeping his promises than any before him. His pluses so far outweigh his negatives it isn’t even worth discussing.
While your two top issues are Immigration and debt I can promise you they are decidedly NOT the top issues of the population in general (immigration is near the top of the list and Trump has had enormous successes in that area despite what the media says.) My guess is 95% of the population couldn’t even give a reasonable estimate of what the debt is and wouldn’t know the difference between the debt and a deficit.
What people car about are THEMSELVES and how THEY are doing at any given time. James Carville had it right way back in 1992 when he said, “It’s the economy, stupid”.
Not at all what Baris is finding.
I trust him.
Yes, they do think Trump and the “old” DemoKKKrats have a lot in common. Jobs. Workers.
That’s exactly what Trump won on.
This poll is terrifying to DemoKKKrats, and Parscale’s survey of the NM event has to equally terrify them. 9% first time voters or never voted before; 40% Hispanic; 30% DemoKKKrat. Again, Baris confirms all of this, right down to the “first time voter” info.
