Ideally, a law should be passed that Reps and Senators have to put ALL of their investments in a blind trust when they take office and that they are not allowed to make ANY investments as long as they are in office.

Of course that law wouldn’t be proposed. But we need something to keep these politicians honest.

This is another reason we desperately need strict term limits.

Or an Article V Convention of States that could easily handle all the ills the slimy politician-lawyer class has quietly enacted to line their and their families pockets.

Agreed! I also believe if a politician is running for a different office he/she must resign their incumbent position!
