Without very special permits, no one can own a fully automatic rifle. That is a military grade assault weapon you dumbasses. A semi-auto rifle is not such, no matter how scary it looks to you. When and by who is this going to made clear?
In Canada, fully automatics have been legally prohibited (via grandfathering) since January 1 1978. You would have already had to have registered such a firearm by that date with the appropriate restricted weapons permit(s).
Another thing to note is that states like Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho have very little or no firearms controls (constitutional carry among other things) and also have homicide rates that are about the same as the neighbouring Canadian province(s).
Further the parts in the commercial and the mil-grade are of a different quality
And that right there is a gross violation of the Second Amendment. We shouldn't be arguing that semi-auto AR15s aren't "military grade weapons". It's a stupid argument from either side. We should be reminding people that 2A specifically protects "military grade weapons".
