It's the primary a stake now? That's what I meant.

But regardless of whoose running or endorsing, what happened to NH?

O’Brien

Didn’t he once get a limo at JFK?

Massachusetts. The same thing happening nationwide: the urban rot is so bad that the residents flee to lower taxes, higher quality of living-—then immediately begin to vote in the same stupid liberal policies that gave them the urban rot.

NV, CO, AZ, TX, NV, in the west all battling this, NH in the east. The GOP still has on paper a sizeable lead in voter reg, and gained net 7,000 more voters than the Ds since 2016, but I suspect many of these are Mass. RINOs.

"Cruz told conservative host Jeff Kuhner on WRKO AM 680"

Yes he did, I heard it with my own ears.

Listen live folks, Kuhner Country is FreeRepublic and ConservativeTreeHouse friendly.

Cruz’s endorsement came two days after Lewandowski’s combative appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, which served to bolster his national profile — and highlight his fierce loyalty to Trump — ahead of an expected announcement next month about a Senate run.

Why is the first instinct to rip into one of the most Conservative senators we have? Lewandowski hasn't even declared he's running yet. At least wait until after he declares to bitch and whine about Cruz!

Not to mention, O'Brien and Cruz already know each other, as O'Brien was Cruz's campaign chair for NH. So obviously someone who supported you and worked for you is going to have a pretty good chance of receiving your endorsement...

Just like his swamp buddy, H1B Mike Lee? I reluctantly voted for Cruz in the 2018 general only because I didn’t want Irish Bob. I didn’t so much vote for Cruz, as I voted against O’Rourke. Ted Cruz is simply not well liked by many people. If you don’t believe that, just compare his vote totals to Abbott’s in 2018. They both ran statewide. If someone worthwhile primaries him in 2024, I suspect Canada Ted could be in trouble.

I don’t really care if Lewandowski gets nominated for NH. I was going to vote for Cruz, until I got to know Trump better. The question is, which party’s candidate, once a candidate is nominated, will win the election. I’m for the Republican nominee, whoever he is. And Cruz is an important part of the Republican Party. If he wants to put someone forward, let him put someone forward, and may the best man win.

Lewandowski has not announced a Senate bid. Just talk for now.

Exactly. They know Lewandowski isn’t going to sit in the corner and wait his turn to speak. He crushed the Dem’s at their hearing. Imagine what he could do to them if he’s a Senator.

Cruz and his ilk, no matter how Conservative they might be, want polished speakers that are willing to offer an olive branch to Milano, who would spit in his kid’s faces if it got her some tv time.

Lewandowski is just a younger and probably wittier and more sarcastic Donald Trump and his answer to Swalwell is an indication of things to come if he decides to run. And, you’d be an idiot to bet against him, in a debate against O’Brien or anyone else. He talks like a regular guy, not a snake oil salesman. That’s what people want.

Exactly. Cruz is supporting a supporter.

Politics like this is a long term game, not short term for a news cycle. O'Brien would fit in as a Freeper for some of the things he has said.

Lewandowski has never held elected office and O'Brien has. That is important in endorsements between politicians.

Sure Ted has issues with coming across as likeable. And he certainly didn’t take Beta nearly as seriously as he should have. That said, he still won despite Beta having shittons of foreign $$ thrown his way. Unless he has a very serious primary challenger with either lots of name recognition or lots of $$, I don’t see him losing again if he runs. Definitely not in the general election.

But what does Mike Lee have to do with this? What Conservative principles is Cruz going against by endorsing O’Brien? Hell, Cruz was the ONLY candidate to argue AGAINST ethanol in fuel, and he still won Iowa in 2016!

My point is that a lot of people who voted for Governor Abbott in the same election did not vote for Cruz. I think Abbott got around 4.6M votes and Cruz got around 4.2M. Apparently a lot of Republican voters already voting anyways didn’t vote for Cruz. It is not like Abbott is a squish who appeals to liberal Democrats. Why do you think that happened?
