I just got back from lunch here in Denver. Thirty years ago the sky at this time of year would be brown due to dust in the air. Yet twenty years ago that problem was addressed, and today was a beautiful day with clear blue skies.

On the 16th street mall in downtown, however, was a protest of probably 3000 young people, claiming that pollution is horrible and the Earth itself is at stake. A large number of signs and chanting for the green new deal.

The environment is going to be the issue for this election. The democrats will not even mention jobs or the economy. They think the environment is their winning issue.

I was on an Alaskan cruise last September and one of the places we went was Glacier Bay National Park. The head ranger boarded the ship and narrated as we cruised through the bay. He explained that when George Washington was President that the bay was frozen over with 5000 feet of ice but by the end of the 1800's the glaciers had retreated to create this bay. It is now the breeding ground for huge numbers of sea lions and seals.

To my knowledge there were no SUVs from 1789 to 1899, so climate scientists better look for a better answer of what causes natural Earth warming and cooling.

The climate is changing here in the Northern Hemisphere in New Jersey. Monday is the first day of Autumn. Happens all the time, ya know? Usually ‘round this time of year. Sure is pretty when all the leaves start a changing colors and all. Right nice. Wonder if them smarty pants college kids with all that fancy book learnin’ ever plan on a changing it. Be a right shame if they did.

Just watch the Weather Channel for non-stop weather hysteria, always presented as “settled science”. BTW, didn’t they start calling themselves “the Water Channel” this summer? What happened?
