I think it was stupid to vote again. He won so they vote again. He lost so it’s over now. Not a smart system.
In all parliamentary systems you have to have a majority of parliament in order to form a government. This year, Netanyahu has not been able to get to the required 61 members of parliament supporting him in order to form a government.
It remains to be seen if Netanyahu’s chief opponent Benny Gantz can get to 61 seats in coalition with other parties.
