My wife used to ‘tutor’ jocks in college..languages and MATH ..She entered college at 15,graduated at 19 and we married when she was 20.....Had she not married me, I am sure she would have been able to make a darn good contribution in ‘stem fashion’..and after a fashion, she did—3 really smart kids...

While putting careers aside for families certainly impacted many women years ago, with more and more women remaining childless today there is simply no excuse for them to avoid the STEM fields - except they don’t want to put the work into it.
