This is exactly why climate alarmists refuse to debate. Nearly all of the prominent ones have gone out on a forecasting limb and had it sawed off behind them.
All it would take to devastate them in any debate is quote their own words and point out that it didn’t happen. Debate over.
So they all chatter about a supposed 97% consensus while refusing to debate, claiming the matter is “settled science.” It’s settled all right; they’re wrong, and have been wrong for decades now.
They refuse to debate because the goal is more important than facts: They need to get young Americans accustomed to foregoing children, private automobiles, and private homes - and they are having some success.
