Growing up in the 40’s and 50’s I can remember watching many skits at the local high school (Florida) with black face funnies. Also, it was common in minstrels. Several Hollywood movies had it too.

Then, when the left/media thought they could use it to smear Republicans it suddenly became “racist”. The opportunistic left never misses an opportunity. Hypocrisy? Nah. Media simply turns their head if/when a protected class member gets caught in the act. Bunch of phonies.
