When they put a smoking ban in effect up in my locale back in about 2002 or 2003, they even banned it in areas that were separately ventilated and/or had very good air purification systems. This applied to these things even in seniors’ residences and legion halls. It was such a stupid sledgehammer to a fly approach to have this law and to tell persons who’d been smoking all of those years to simply go outside and smoke, particularly where the winters can be quite harsh.
I agree. Same here. I do not promote smoking however for the government to ban it is a violation of smokers rights. It IS a legal substance.
