Everything we wanted to accomplish in Afghanistan, we've accomplished -- removing the Taliban from power, installing a US friendly government and killing Osama Bin Laden and most of those responsible for 9/11.
So you are saying we are done in Afghanistan! I agree! Long past time to depart...we have had under 2K troops there for years and opium production is back at pre-war levels! ;-)
We accomplished that by November 2001.
Since then we are concerned with girls going to school.
