The Times had a public editor named Daniel Okrent years ago - appointed after the Jayson Blair scandal.
It’s time for the New York Times to track Okrent down - offer him his job back... and start cleaning house...
The NYTimes knows which side its bread is buttered on.
At the first sign of any objectivity in its reporting on anything connected to Trump (or his nominee Kavanaugh), its readers go berserk and start cancelling subscriptions.
So - yeah, this incident might be malpractice from a journalistic point of view - but who gives a rap about that, at the NYTimes? Middle finger to all these journalistic puritans. The bottom line is where it’s at. Give our readers what they want.
It attached itself to the legacy media, it's called fake news, the media is corrupt, Trump is right to constantly call them out. The legacy media is now simply an outlet for Leftist activism.
