Yes, I know what the AHA says. But the research says otherwise. The AHA is full of crap. They (and the government) have pushed the cholesterol bogyman for decades and won’t quit. That is why I cited research.
But believe what you want.
You never even identify who the "AHA" is. Sounds like you have some burr under your saddle or axe to grind with whoever they are. You've been following their cholesterol boogieman for decades now and they won't quit. What does that even mean?
And besides, what do you care whether I understand or agree with your argument or not? If my cholesterol at 115 is endangering my life, that would be one thing. But I have had low cholesterol for decades. When is this supposed "other" cholesterol range you're pushing, going to affect my health?
At age 72, there's not much time left to prove your theory that my low cholesterol is somehow a health risk or even significant to me. Besides, the propensity to have high cholesterol is mainly genetic or hereditary in nature. My whole family has low cholesterol.
Not much I can do about my cholesterol level at this stage anyway not matter whether I'm right or you are.
