I’m perfectly willing to give the new, improved Lindsey Graham a chance. This statement is one reason why.
People can change, although it’s often difficult.
But I look at my own political views over the years, and I notice that while I’ve always been a man of the right, my take on various issues has changed — but only when new facts come to light. This rarely bothers me — the one path to wisdom starts with acknowledging how much you don’t know.
So, I must extend to others the same indulgence I give myself.
Graham can be helpful when he has his mind right on an issue because he is such a good communicator. He generally seems to click with Trump for some reason.
My comment was focused on his communications skills which many in the Republican Party lack.
