The first person of national fame I heard sound this same warning and has done so on numerous occasions is Rush Limbaugh. He did so for the first time several years ago.

The plague of liberals leaving their hellhole states for low tax and regulation states like Texas is those fleeing do not change their voting habits. For the most part they continue to vote liberal in the new state.

This is what turned Florida purple.

“This is what turned Florida purple.”

Include North Carolina and Virginia as well. Although the latter’s purple status was caused more by the growth OF federal govt and the resulting federal employees in northern Virginia.

Sadly enough, until the last 10-15 years, NoVa was the epicenter of Republicans in the state. No Republican could win statewide w/o NoVa. Now, no Republican can win statewide because of NoVa.

Laugh and go pishaw if you wish, but add Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee to the list of states that will be trending blue by 2028 if not sooner. Demographic shifts will give the progressives an advantage that state GOP organizations refuse to do anything about or even acknowledge.
