Beck’s whipping boy is always Woodrow Wilson. I don’t think that I’ve ever heard Beck mention the role of Teddy Roosevelt or any Republican in the development of progressive politics, and there was plenty of it in the early 1900s. TR even ran on the Progressive Party ticket in 1912, against Taft and Wilson.
