I have been in downtown Minneapolis after midnight. I took the last bus out of there to get back to my hotel in St. Paul. I was visiting a friend about eight blocks away I had met at church camp. I had to run to get to the bus on time. The bus stop had a lit bench area with partiers and drunkards.
It was obvious the bus driver didn’t feel safe. He reiterated I was fortunate to have made it.
