I think Cruz held his ground with no problem, promised nothing and never came close to promising something. I could be blind but I don't think Cruz is going to give an inch.
He's going to keep arguing for his Cruz-Grassley bill or whatever it was called - I think I just saw something close to it mentioned in another article.
I'm not a crystal ball reader, and I'm not a fan of Cruz. But at least from what I saw, he held the line and was not even CLOSE to moving in their direction, not once.
That hug at the end -> by this point in the thing, Cruz just wanted them out of there if you look at his body language. He had compassion for the guy who lost a daughter, but was not moved by Allyssa's (Team America) ACTING! or the other guy who's partnered with her on her foundation. Anyway - that hug at the end - as I recall she initiated it, he couldn't very well turn it down.

And I just re-watched the little hug thing. Cruz extended his hand, she reached out to hug. He had no choice. The brought the whole emotional lefty thing against him.
Also it's worth noting that as bad as Hollywood is, they are dupes half the time. Allyssa is not smart, doesn't know history. She probably really thinks she's doing good, doesn't understand that she's a useful idiot. Now I'm not saying she's not an idiot, but what I am saying is that she's probably sincere, and just dead wrong, and being used. I have no pity for her being used -> she's narcissistic so isn't aware the left is employing her grandiosity and need to feel important and (I hate the word) ... Impactful. But she's a hypnotized Zombie.
As long as I've already written more than I intended ... Cruz did turn their heads a couple times on the fact that the Dems shot down his bill, which would have stopped one of the 3 shootings they talked about, and might have stopped the other 2.
The guy who's daughter was shot, brought in to be the in your face shame argument, by the end of it was pretty interested in Cruz's bill.
Ok enough outta me.
Summary: I think Cruz budged not one iota of a centimeter, and even made them think a teency weency bit. As I believe Pence told Trump, who later repeated it: Truth is a Force of Nature.

Milano is a few fries short of a happy meal to be sure. However, she’s got the same rights to meet with elected officials as anyone else has.
Granted, she got easier access because she is a public figure and does have a voice; even if it is a typical celebtard one. You got to meet these people head on. If we run and hide then that will be used against us.
