Perhaps the lack of endorsement had something to do with Trump accusing Cruz’ father of complicity in the murder of John F. Kennedy. Or, perhaps it had something to do with attacking the physical appearance of Cruz’ wife. Who knows, Perhaps John Bolton would have some insight into what Cruz’ was feeling at the convention. Perhaps one’s stand on this matter depends on whether you think payback is a one-way street.
Cruz blamed Trump for organized left wing political violence at Trump’s Chicago rally. Cruz’s pastor father attacked President Trump’s religious beliefs.
If you’re going to dish it out you better be able to take it. Cruz and supporters can’t, obviously. And that’s why he will never be POTUS.
We could do much worse in 2024 than Ted Cruz in whom I can see absolutely no evidence that he cannot "take it."
