The RCMP has arrested and charged a high-level official with the force in a major national security case.

Cameron Ortis faces seven charges dating back to 2015 under both the Criminal Code and the Security of Information Act, and Global News has learned the RCMP believe he stole “large quantities of information, which could compromise an untold number of investigations.”

Other sources referred to the case as “serious spy s–t.”

...he was likely the only civilian to ever achieve the position of director general of intelligence.

That role gave him control over RCMP counter-intelligence operations.

...charges relate specifically with unauthorized leaking of sensitive operational information and breach of trust, as well as unauthorized use of a computer.

The other counts refer to “obtaining, retaining or gaining access” to information and possessing a device “useful for concealing the content of information or surreptitiously communicating, obtaining or retaining information.”

Two of the charges are based on a section of the Security of Information Act that relates to preparatory acts towards “communications to a foreign entity.”

...this could potentially be one of the worst cases of espionage that we’ve ever seen in Canada

"charges dating back to 2015"

The year Trudeau became PM.

They don't say who he was spying for, but the article mentions that he spoke Mandarin.

So is this a smoking gun left over from the 5 Eyes involvement of Australia/NZ/UK in the attempted smear and coup of candidate and then President Trump?

Wouldn't it be lovely that instead of The RCMP has arrested and charged high-level ......it would read: "The Department of Justice has arrested and charged high-level officials with treason the attempt to over throw the United States President, Donald J. Trump...

America once known for her sparkling Judicial System is now known for the 2 tier system of justice the Marxists in our government have imposed....getting a pass is Hillary Clinton, James Colmey, McCabe to name a few who will never be charged as traitors for their crimes which they clearly are.

[Cameron Ortis]

I don’t know what the org chart looks like, but the title sounds really high up in the hierarchy.

“They guy doesn’t exist on the internet, present news aside.”

This scandal might hurt the Left, in the coming Canadian election.

Down the memory hole with him.
