I know the wife of the DPS officer that was shot. She works at a local bank.
(He’s going to be OK, btw. The bullet got several teeth and his jaw is wired shut, so he’ll be fine.)
All the politicians came in from Texas, but Beto sent his aide to try to get her (the wife) to get on camera to say something about banning guns.
She unequivocally told the aide to “f—k off”.
She’s not one to talk like that, normally.
