I’ve always thought that stealing should be legalized. Perhaps even encouraged. Institutionalized, in fact. Taxed and regulated, with government incentives.

You beat me to it. Income taxes are the same as involuntary servitude, which is a 100% income tax rate. Any lesser percentage is merely a matter of degree.
