My big complaint with the administration has been a failure to bring the coup plotters to justice.

I would _love_ to be proven wrong.

McCabe would look so beautiful in orange!

[WASHINGTON – Federal prosecutors recommended seeking criminal charges against Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI and a frequent target of criticism by President Donald Trump, according to people familiar with the decision Thursday.]

Politico keeping the narrative alive (not surprised).

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/09/12/justice-department-recommends-andrew-mccabe-indictment-1492925

The recommendation also comes on the heels of McCabe’s lawsuit against the DOJ, filed last month in Washington, D.C. In it, McCabe claimed that his ouster last March — on the day he planned to retire after a 21-year career — was politically motivated retaliation driven by President Donald Trump, who was angry at McCabe’s role in the investigation of his campaign’s links to Russia.

“Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI - A great day for Democracy,” Trump tweeted on March 17, just two hours after then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions officially fired McCabe. “Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!”

McCabe — who launched a counterintelligence investigation into Trump after he fired FBI Director James Comey in 2017 — said in an interview earlier this year that he believed his firing over “lack of candor” was “a perfect way to undermine my ability to, who knows, provide testimony against” the president.”

These a**holes are spinning, trying to make it look like Trump’s ‘frequent criticisms’ are behind this.

He was fired for a good reason — lying and leaking, period — as recommended by a Justice Department Inspector General.

Trump was correct to be critical. Thank God we no longer have a wimp who sits back and takes it without a whimper, like GWB.

You can beat the rap, but you can’t beat the ride. In other words, he might eventually skate on the charges, but that will take years of stress and big checks written to high-priced lawyers. As a long-time civil servant, he had better hope he has wealthy friends willing to foot his bills. Welcome to Michael Flynn’s and Scooter Libby’s life.

As long as they devastate him financially like they did Flynn (sp?) I will be happy.

As the indictments began to fall, careers and lives are squandered. And the Queen giggles in the shadows.

But that might make Democrats look partisan and biased....oh....

(Andrew) McCabe is married to Jill McCabe, a pediatrician, who was a Democratic candidate for the Virginia state senate in 2015.

McCabe's leak hurt the Obama DOJ and Hillary Clinton.

McCabe leaked to the WSJ that he was being pressured by the Obama DOJ to shut down the Clinton Foundation investigation.

This charge DOES NOT signify that the DOJ is prosecuting crimes by the Deep State against Trump.

Re: prosecutors recommend charges for former FBI official

BOGUS!

Here's the plan....

Deep State, Anti-Trump Prosecutors will present a pitifully weak case to a Washington D.C. Grand Jury.

The Grand Jury is drawn from the D.C. voter rolls.

96% of Washington D.C. voters voted against Donald Trump in 2016.

The Grand Jurors will not indict (usually requires a majority vote on each charge).

DOJ and McCabe will walk away free - “exonerated” by a Grand Jury of their "peers."

4am SWAT extraction of him and wifey from bed, confiscation of all their computer devices and files, and unending legal fees.

Karma is a biotch.

I think Comey should be cold tarred and yellow feathered, and made to wear a beak. He should be sentenced to singing kids songs on PBS and mocked for the rest of his life.
