And the usual suspects will express surprise at the shortage. They will direct their anger at ‘greedy landlords’ who are willfully sabotaging, wrecking if you will, the stated goal of the people’s representatives in Sacramento to make sure that every Californian is able to exercise his/her/its right to housing.

As the ‘housing crisis’ intensifies, there will be calls to seize apartments, houses, etc. to achieve this necessary goal. Someone with more skill than me will soon post the comrade’s picture from Dr Zhivago.
