One way around it is to require a high minimum credit score of ALL applicants, but if you’re caught waiving it for the “right” tenant you can be hauled into court and fined.

I wonder what THE STATE WILL ALLOW in terms of the amount of security deposit that can be requested? One would hope the last months rent up front is on the table as well??
If you have to waive a credit check for the right tenant, then that tenant is all wrong. I know.
