How does one get to “appeal” an indictment? I thought indictments were handed down from a grand jury who hears evidence in secret?

I don’t get it either..also why leak this out...just come out with the BOOM indictment
His lawyers leaked it. They received an email from the DOJ stating that the DAG was rejecting his lawyers last ditch reasoning on why he should not be indicted.
