I agree on the maintaining the sanctions but who says war has to be the option. Bolton I think is right on this one Iran has the most to lose, not the US by not negotiating. Just maintain the sanctions for the history of the muzzie modus operandi is fully known. If you relent now, they’ll stick you in the back and war is almost guaranteed.
Iran is not "really" a problem?
I'm assuming Iran IS a problem.
My point is that pushing for war against them has no effect and gives no leverage to the U.S. when it's being done by a dope like Bolton who pushes for war against EVERYONE.
To give an example from an astute corporate leadership consultant I once met ...
"It's not a good idea to scold my young child harshly for making a mess at the kitchen table, because I want to save that harsh scolding for the time when it's REALLY important to get a stern message across -- like when I catch her playing with matches or running out into a busy street."
Either way they are at war with us.
They were actively involved in the Marine barracks bombing in Lebanon, 9/11 and actively supported al queda and shiite attacks against our troops in Iraq.
They attempted to bomb a Saudi right here in the US.
Hezbollah is actively involved in running drugs into the US.
Check out Post #20 and the link I posted there. No offense, but if you don't know that Bolton was pushing for war with Iran then you haven't been paying attention for the last 20 years. LOL.
The U.S. has effectively been "at war" with Iran since we helped Great Britain topple the elected government of Iran for British Petroleum in 1953.
They attempted to bomb a Saudi right here in the US.
That's probably what had Bolton so upset. I honestly think he's been a paid Saudi operative in the U.S. for years.
Mere coincidence./sarc
I imagine POTUS will have something public to say about this report.
When all is revealed, probably not til judgment day, or the last three years of the end times, the perfidy of our “friends” the Saudis, (and our other middle eastern “allies”) will most likely be astounding, though it may become more apparent before then, as time goes by. Only Israel comes close to being our friends. And that could change with a regime change, though I don’t think it will, since for now, at least, we’re about the only friend they have.
