That was almost 40 years ago. And considering how PA’s economy has benefitted from fracking, I suspect Pickens will be kindly remembered.

I don’t think the average Yinzer has any idea the he had anything to do with fracking.

They just knew that Gulf Oil left town and Uncle Stan had to move to Charlotte to take a job that wasn’t half as good n’at.

Yep, it’s always painful in the short-term, but the cost of putting off the inevitable is always much higher.

I sat with T Boone Pickens and Gov Corbett on an energy round table in Williamsport, PA back in 2008. It was an honor and privilege to be around such a man of focus.

He long advocated for a clear national energy policy....Trump finally did it and brought this nation energy independence.
