At the '9/11 anniversary name reading' a guy appeared in a shirt that read Omar's bizarre words: "Some People Did Something".

There are a few here who have mentioned that they think wearing that shirt there was inappropriate/out of context.

What do you think?

You are missing a ton of context here. Per another thread I saw here on FR, the guy in that shirt was one of the presenters, and his speech explained exactly what some people, who did what something. By itself, the shirt is highly inappropriate. In conjunction with the speech, I like it.

__________

The shirt was NEVER "BY ITSELF".

You are a half day late with your "observation".

It was the perfect place to say what he said, and ....... it was a perfect shirt for the occasion.
