Ironically, I had been keeping up with these sort of things going on in the middle east and had talked to Mrs. rktman about it. While it was happening on TV she mentioned to a gal that worked for her that it was probably obl that was behind it and the gal looked at her with one of those “Who the hell is that?” kind of looks. Most people were clueless and sadly still are about the evil that is out there. Admittedly some of my info had been gleaned from SOF magazine years ago.
The second plane hit at 9:03. Just under six minutes later, OBL’s name was mentioned by HalfIrish (who is still active on FR) as the likely culprit. There is a whole lot of expertise on FR, and this was one of the many occasion on which that stood out.
