It’s not a conservative taboo. It’s respect for humanity, something this Swedish “scientist” wouldn’t understand.
The insane left is trying to get us to eat insects and worms, telling us it’s good for the planet, environment, bull$hit, etc. Same message for eating dead people.
One non-religious reason for not eating dead people: transmission of disease!

John the Baptist seemed to have done well with locusts and honey...perhaps roasted a bit. It could be very nutritious sustenance. But I’ll draw the line at worms, spiders and tarantulas(some people in S. America find tarantulas a good eat). Guinea pigs I might try once if the sauce is just right!
